Digital Imaging
Lameness exams require close observation of the horse in hand and under tack. Diagnostic nerve and or joint blocks may be done followed by a radiographic exam and analysis. Digital radiographs provide immediate, high quality images.
Monocacy Equine offers direct digital imaging in our clinic and at your farm. Our doctors are equipped with radiograph and ultrasound machines which are transportable in their vehicles.
Ultrasound provides a non-invasive, reliable and safe way to image the inside of the horse.
Monocacy Equine uses ultrasound imaging to provide useful information about tendons and ligaments, cardiovascular problems, abdominal and reproductive issues.
