Monocacy Equine Veterinary Students

We welcome vet medical students for externships, based on availability. Please reach out to the office staff with your resume & any related equine experience.

At this time we cannot accept high school students, and encourage anyone who is interested in equine veterinary work to volunteer with some of our local horse rescues & organizations to gain hands on handling experience. – Days End Farm Horse Rescue, Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue, and Lifeline Horse Rescue all offer volunteer opportunities.
